Our inspiration

Old arches, old paintings and a little nostalgia

Much of what we make begins with things we have loved for a long time: marble screens carved so finely the light comes through, stone flowers set into old walls, and the soft colours of Mughal miniatures.

The Lily Vine Top takes its trailing print from flowers and vines inlaid in stone. On the Moonstone Top, tonal embroidery frames the placket like a carved marble border, and long pin-tucks follow the lines of a jaali screen.
